Quilting Intern (6 Month FTC)
Role Overview:
Liberty is looking for a Quilting Intern to join our Fabrics team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting the day-to-day running of each Quilting collection from first sample through to final delivery. You'll work across the full collection cycle, coordinating samples, managing supplier communications, cross-checking marketing materials and keeping production admin on track.
This is a role for someone with a keen eye for detail and a genuine love of fabrics, textiles or crafting. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Sales, Product, Design and Marketing, making it a brilliant opportunity to build broad experience within a world-renowned creative brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Samples
Organise fabric to send to makers for samples.
Oversee the transportation of quilts and precuts to and from suppliers, tradeshows and distributors, monitoring tracking throughout.
Arrange e-commerce photography for precut products as required.
Process invoices for pattern writers and suppliers, following through on communications to completion.
Marketing Tools
Coordinate the sending of fabric to produce selling tools.
Cross-check final packaging and brochure files before print, including barcodes, SKU codes and fabric requirements.
Maintain up-to-date collection files and send materials to the graphic design team to arrange collection design assets.
Product & Production Orders
Organise order sheets to send to suppliers for each collection.
Complete customer spreadsheets and photography uploads as required.
Code new collection lines and arrange barcode production.
Track and submit invoices to Finance once orders are complete.
About You:
A keen eye for detail, ensuring all final documents and materials are accurate and end-user ready.
Organised and able to prioritise effectively, keeping samples, production requests and collection information on track and easily accessible at all times.
A strong communicator, comfortable collaborating with colleagues across Sales, Product, Design, Graphics and Marketing to get things done.
A genuine interest in Liberty's world of fabrics and textiles — a love of crafting or quilting would be a bonus, though not essential.
